I'm David Martin your local independent locksmiths, I started DFM Locksmiths in 2007 and have been the face behind the business all this time, so when you call DFM Locksmiths it's me who you will speak with and deal with from start to finish.
With over 17 years experience as a trading Locksmith for both Domestic & Commercial customers in Fife & Kinross and surrounding areas.
My van is well stocked to cover most lock issues on the first visit, I can also cut you extra keys on site for the locks I have just fitted, saving you valuable time and money, so if you need 3 or 33 keys this is not an issue.

Locksmith (David) arrived at the arranged time.
I had a faulty front door lock. The problem was diagnosed, explained in terms I could understand and resolved in less than 45 minutes.
He worked tidily and explained what was going on as he carried out the repair

A key broke off in the back door and David came today fixed that as well as the front door where he had to use all his skills to fix the problems from a previous locksmith. Now I have two doors that locks easily and I can recommend him anytime

Excellent service, went above and beyond. Fitted a lock and new handles, which was a much more difficult and time consuming job than first thought. Thought I had nothing more to do than pick handles I liked and viola job would be done. Unfortunately not, due to the type of handles and the joinery work behind the rose fitting it was difficult to find suitable alternatives and even more difficult to fit them. David was patient and professional and completed the job to a superb standard.

Very happy with DFM Locksmiths. David came round and changed all the locks on our new house at very short notice, and at a very reasonable price. He also gave us lots of useful advice on the condition of our doors. David came across as a very honest, genuine and helpful person - he was very transparent about pricing and I won't hesitate to use him again.

What started out as an initial easy job deteriorated into a potential nightmare for DFM Locksmiths. They discovered a hidden problem, and immediately organised a solution. Parts had to be ordered, and it was all done within 24 hours, in a very calm and professional manner. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them, and am very very grateful for how they fixed our problem. House owner is a lone disabled OAP who was nervous, and this company were outstanding at their job and how they dealt with the anxiety.

Dont normally put reviews up however I must with David at DFM Locksmiths. He Came on time and clearly told me what to expect. No hidden surprises, clearly knew what he was doing and looks like he actually loves his job which is great to see.
Used DFM now for a lot more other than getting into my house and car. They have changed all my locks on my house as I bought one just 2 months ago and wanted extra security/ peace of mind.
Also put extra locks on my van.
