We specialise in both indoor and outdoor lighting installation and associated lighting design. Additionally, we provide all domestic and commercial electrical services, from changing a simple light switch or installing new power sockets to complete smart home installations.
As a service, we also offer a one-stop shop design and installation service. With all trades available on the team and a fully qualified Interior designer to let loose on your ideas. From a new Kitchen or Bathroom to lounge leisure lighting or a spectacular outdoor system.
Accredited by Aico alarm systems as an expert installer for fire and Carbon Monoxide detectors and by both Ring and Nest for smart home automation.

We had an issue with a faulty shower switch and a persistent burning smell when in use. Dave was exceptionally prompt in getting to us and fixing the issue. Even after we had problems with the faulty replacement switch, he came out at no extra cost straight away to get it returned and replaced. Highly recommended and will definitely be using Appleby Electrics again in the future!

One damaged socket and another faulty socket replaced. Very efficient amd punctual. Great price for work carried out too. Very approachable and even involved our 6 year old daughter by getting her to "help" by holding the light.

Fantastic response when first called, came straight to house to make electrics safe following a flood.

Dave was very friendly and helpful when we moved into our new home and required some advice connecting our cooker. Dave kept us informed when he would be arriving and worked in a very professional and organised manner. We are very happy with the work carried out and would definitely use his services again.

Phoned in the morning about a faulty oven. Dave came in the afternoon and after inspection said it required a new element. Ordered the same day and said he would fix the issue next day. Unfortunately van broke down but he texted back saying he would come 2 days later which he did. He installed the part and oven is in full working order. Overall cost was cheap and I would not hesitate to get this company again for any future work. Highly recommended. A+++++

I hired Dave to locate and fix a fault in our kitchen lights. Arriving quickly at the agreed time Dave's communication throughout the process was outstanding. His quality of work was excellent and very reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend hiring Dave for electrical work.

I contacted Dave because our bathroom lights had failed. He responded very quickly, came and identified the problem and returned to fit a replacement circuit breaker. Reconnecting cable to kitchen sockets and boiler. Dave visited within 1 day of contacting him. He considered it urgent as I had no hot water. He very quickly found out the problem and fixed it ensuring everything was working before he left. He was very knowledgeable and kept me informed of all he was doing.

Contacted Dave from Appleby Electrics to organise a ECIR report. Dave organised for this report to be carried out ASAP. Very professional and lovely person. Cost for works was lower than expected. He worked as part of a team installing my kitchen. Rerouting sockets, installing new overhead lighting and once all the plastering and tiling was completed he came back to check all the sockets and installed the under cabinet lighting. Cleaned up after himself and left the kitchen tidy.

I found Dave to be very knowledgeable and professional, but also friendly. He arrived when he said he would, and carried out the required works with no issues.
He disconnected fittings to allow joinerwork to be carried out, then returned to change a single ceiling light into 4 downlighters for me. He even left a diagram for the joiner who was installing cladding to the ceiling.
I was more than happy with the service and the works carried out and will be using Appleby Electrics again to carry out further works.
