Work carried out within the agreed deadline to an excellent standard. Newly purchased 1850s property with extensive roof repairs needed and AHL managed to bring it back to its former glory with slate tiles. Kept us fully informed throughout with photograph updates as we were not around to see for ourselves. Have more work lined up and feel fully confident going forward.

Had guttering and a down pipe needing replaced which Alan and his team did very well. Absolutely no mess left and very friendly workmen. Also had an emergency building issue which Alan problem solved and came up with a solution at a very reasonable cost.

Alan and his team have been helping us to renovate our house - repointing outside walls, renovating chimneys, working on roof, plaster-boarding and plastering. We have been very happy with the standard of the work done - Alan responded quickly and gave us a detailed quote, kept us up to date with the progress of the work and dealt very efficiently with any extra problems that came up. His team are always polite and considerate and leave things very clean and tidy at the end of the day. We are definitely planning to ask Alan to do further work on our house.

My overflow pipe was overflowing... the gentleman came within half an hour of me phoning and was able to fix the problem there n then. Very helpful indeed.

We discovered rising damp in one room and needed it dealt with promptly. Alan and his team were fantastic. They were all very professional and made sure each stage was done properly before starting the next bit. All in all it took around 2 weeks to be completed as we needed the area dried out before they could treat the area. The plastering at the end left the wall smooth and ready for papering. Would highly recommend and have actually booked them again to replace some broken guttering.

I had a wall taken down which ran from the front of my property to the back. It was basically a full renovation downstairs. Alan was always easy to contact and pleasant to deal with. I trusted him with the work he was doing and felt for all the work I had done, the price was very fair. I would use Alan again in future for any work I have done.

Alan and his team did a superb job. There were some big issues with the building along the way and they dealt with the issues with a professional approach. Plaster on the ceiling was damaged with a gaping hole and bits of plaster falling off. Alan, responded to the call to repair this very quickly, and arrived as promised a day later. The work is of an exceptionally high standard and I am very pleased with the quality of the service and workmanship. Very good value for money - I would definitely recommend and use again.
