Tom Knight & Son

Have used Tom and Lewis several times and found their service to be absolutely first class. Recent work completed for me on 15/1/2024 involved new toilet and sink facilities installed in a flat purchased by my son. The company went out of their way to respond to my initial enquiry over the festive break and completed the work quickly and efficiently. Great company to deal with and I will certainly be using them again in the future. Highly recommend to anyone in the future

Kitchen tap fixed by Lewis without any fuss and with lots of kindness. Shower checked to see whether possible to change it and good, professional advice given. Excellent service.

We had a new boiler fitted with Thomas Knight & Son and were extremely happy with the excellent work. They went above and beyond and were really friendly and professional. They were very reliable and turned up exactly when they said they would. We have already highly recommended them to family and friends. They are absolutely brilliant!

Called Tom Thursday 30th as my boiler had packed in, he said they were busy but Lewis would pop round and take a look he was there within a couple of hours and checked boiler sadly it was done, Lewis then sorted out a few things to squeeze me in and had new boiler up and running by lunch time on Friday the 1st can’t thank Lewis enough for helping us out.

I can't speak highly enough of Tom Knight and Son. They are reliable, trustworthy and fare. I have used them on my client projects over recent years for kitchen and bathroom supply and fit as well as flooring and bespoke joinery. I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending them for this type of work.

We moved into a new build 9 months again but heard lots of residents had problems with their boiler so we asked Lewis to come and check it over for us which he did and reassured us that the boiler was fitted and working satisfactory. Would always recommend Tom Knight & son for all plumbing work.

I was quite anxious, to call a heating engineer out, due to some bad experiences with tradesmen in the past but when Lewis arrived at my home to see why my boiler was leaking, he made me feel at ease, just could tell he was genuine/trustworthy.

My instincts were correct as hes done a great job fixing my old boiler, had to order few parts but kept me informed of pricing, when should or did arrive, he also explained why the certain parts were needed, showing me my broken parts to why they had stop working through time.

Lewis also looked on last visit, to another leak I found day b4 Under my kitchen sink unit, i thought maybe come from my loose tap!.
He discovered more leaks too, so I've booked him to fix this but very kindly out of the goodness of his heart, fixed my loose tap for me then & there not charging extra for this.
I can not tell you how extremely grateful i am to Lewis not only for my tap fix but helping with my boiler too, putting me at great ease, with my fears of past bad experiences.

Great feeling, that much so, I have asked to book lots of other plumbing work, needing done around my home with Tom Knight & son.
I also need non plumbing work done too in future, witch I am going to use the trade workers TK&S work alongside with, because I trust in them also being highly professional as Lewis.

One of our radiators wasn't heating up and after doing some tests ourselves we needed some professional help. We reached out via Trusted Trader and Lewis was quick to respond and able to fit us in. The fix itself didn't take long but needed Lewis' expertise and tools, he explained the issue and was helpful. I would definitely call TKS again!

We had some lead piping replaced which involved landscaping work in the garden. Tom and Lewis were punctual, reliable and got the work completed quickly. Liaising with Scottish Water involved delays, but they were great even when they had to wait around for SW. We would definitely use Tom Knight and Son again.

New radiators were fitted five in total. Delighted with timely arrival, hard quick work done in just over a day. Lewis was very courteous and obliging even fixing a leak in our bathroom.

Quote received quickly and efficiently same with goods. Connector for the sink was incorrect but this was quickly resolved and fitted the following day. Communication throughout was excellent.

We had an issue with our washing machine and pipework, and after trying a number of plumbers (who couldn't fix the situation), Tom Knight & Son came round and instantly resolved the problem, saving us hundreds of pounds!

We've used Tom & Lewis Knight on a number of occasions and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are true professionals and a delight to have in your home and genuinely lovely and trustworthy people.

I could not recommend Tom and Lewis highly enough. They were outstanding from start to finish. Patient, kind and thoroughly professional. They provided support and advice throughout my project which has transformed my home! Very efficient, reliable, punctual and great communication throughout. I couldn’t have asked or expected more!

I contacted Tom on Monday morning about a problem with the boiler, which had left us with no heating and hot water over the weekend. Lewis came out at lunchtime the same day and not only fixed the problem, he showed me what to do if it happened again. At the same time he told me not to hesitate to call him if necessary. Once again, they have shown that they go the extra mile!
Tom and Lewis have carried out a range of work for us over the last 5 years. Each time, it has been first class and the standard of customer care is excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Lewis and Tom carried out a complete refurbishment of our bathroom. We were very impressed with the quality of workmanship and careful attention to detail. We were provided with a clear plan of what would be done with time scales so we knew exactly what to expect. All in all a very efficient and professional operation. We would have no hesitation in recommending TKS and plan to use them again.

I had a quote from Tom for replacing a shower screen and tray, the work also requiring the removal and replacement of floor and wall tiles. Having accepted the quote, I had to wait some time for the work to be done. It was well worth the wait. It was very clear that Tom takes an old-fashioned pride in his work and the workmanship across three trades (plumbing and subcontracted joinery and tiling) was to the very highest standard. The work was completed to schedule, communication was excellent and the work area could not have been left any cleaner. Highly recommended on every count.
