Quick response and fitted a new aerial after confirming existing was no good. All done with ease and working fine. Left us with clear and improved picture even in poor weather which was a problem we had persisted with but glad we got this checked out.

Keith came out to fix some work done by another trusted trader.

He came out with the required equipment and within an hour diagnosed my issue was an overamplified signal (not the under-amplified signal and allegedly mismatched kit he previous fitter had diagnosed). Armed with this information he showed me the special trick needed when tuning my TV under these conditions and I now have an immaculate TV reception - with the kit installed by the other trader.

For depth of knowledge and a desire to not sell you kit you don't need I would heartily recommend him.

The roof aerial had blown loose. Keith reassembled it and positioned it in the loft space instead of on the roof - a far better solution given the storms we have had lately. He re-tuned my TV and ensured all the channels were working properly. Keith was thorough in his work. He knew what he was doing and was highly professional. I found him to be honest, friendly and most helpful. His pricing was very reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending Keith and Surrey Aerials.

Keith is an absolute gem. Pleasure to have him do work for us, we'll be calling him again for any of our aerial needs. He wasn't the cheapest, but the cheapest was a bit sketchy, and his prices were by far the most reasonable out of the companies we'd contacted for quotes that I felt would actually come do the job and not just take our money and run.
We had a new aerial fitted, and our neighbour had their aerial reconnected at the same time. Keith showed up when he said he would, provided the services quoted for less than quoted. As I said, he's getting all of my business for aerial works, and a strong recommendation to anyone asking.

I am delighted with Keith's work restoring our TV signal and ensuring it worked in all the rooms where we have aerial plugs. We live in an awkward place for reception and had lost our terrestrial TV picture for many months. Displaying his considerable knowledge and experience, Keith identified several issues with the installation of the aerial, cabling and amplifier. Rather than charging me for new replacement equipment, he supplied some items second hand, at no charge, which were perfect for the job. Not only did he sort all the issues, he also gave me sound advice on future work by others and by myself, when we move things around later. I was very grateful for his expert advice, the icing on the cake of excellent, service.

Keith was excellent - very professional throughout, clear that my money was buying a wealth of experience. Very thoroughly checked for any issues with the signal after initial tuning and worked with the existing equipment without replacing needlessly.

What a wonderful service, I had unsightly cables from several flats after they hadn't tied into the building, so Keith a lovely man came along to look over and gave a quote which was then fixed and looks fantastic and very safe now.

Keith came when he said he would to look at installing a tv aerial for which another company had offered a solution and quote. Keith's solution and quote was much more attractive. He returned to do the job when he said he would and completed the job and more. He checked everything very carefully and cleared up nicely after installing the aerial. He clearly has a lot of experience and practical solutions at a very reasonable cost.

Keith's communication was great from start to finish. He came out promptly to secure an old co-ax cable from an aerial on our chimney that had come loose during stormy weather. He turned up on time and neatly secured the cable. We are very pleased with his professionalism and workmanship and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Surrey Aerials to family and friends.

Keith is highly professional, thorough and efficient. I had a problem with TV-reception and with lot's of patience and perseverance he managed to find the reason, some cable wasn't functional. He repaired it and now all works perfectly again.

I needed a contractor to install an aerial. It was not the usual TV type aerial, rather it was a large aerial of the type used by amateur radio operators (Radio Ham). The installation location was also difficult, being high and with restricted access. Keith (the owner) came round and after some consideration agreed to take on the job.

Keith made a fantastic job of the installation and used 2 very strong brackets to ensure the aerial was fixed securely. I am so pleased at not only the quality of the work, but also being able to find someone prepared to take on the job. I am fairly sure that few contractors would have taken on the work, at least without using expensive cherry pickers etc.

Keith is polite and friendly and timekeeping was extremely good.

I had sudden signal loss on two televisions recently, and arranged for Surrey Aerials to take a look at the issue. Keith arrived and started diagnosing the problem. I am an ex TV Engineer and when Keith was explaining what the possible technical issues were, I understood exactly what he was saying, and it was apparent that he clearly knew his business. Keith was here less than an hour and fixed the issue, which turned out to be a signal amplifier/splitter connected at the aerial end on the roof. Keith took the time to retune and check multiple channels on both televisions.

I would definitely recommend Surrey Aerials, and they would be my first choice should i need aerial work done in the future. The cost of the work was very reasonable and the service warranted a small tip from me.

I had an outside aerial installed . I would highly recommend Surrey Aerials . Attended the job as and when agreed despite the fact we had icy weather only to explain the obvious reasons he was unable to complete the job for safety reasons. Kept in touch to arrange the next suitable day . However in the meantime obliged by tuning my tv into free view . I required an aerial as I had switched from Satellite to BT .

Fitted loft aerial to our new build home. Cabling was fitted by builder. Very timely service with minimal disturbance. Fitter checked whether amplifier was required and also if the hard to get channels were working.

Replacing a broken aerial on a high and somewhat inaccessible chimney and restoring and testing for a good TV signal.

Keith from Surrey Ariels came round the same day that we called about an ariel extension for my 90 year old mother. He was able to do the job there and then with no mess and no fuss and at an extremely competitive price. I would have no hesitation about recommending Surrey Ariels.

Storm Malik took our TV aerial off our roof. We phoned Surrey Aerials at 2 p.m. they said they could come at 4 they arrived early and within an hour (in the rain) fitted a brand new aerial.

I understand we can all have bad days but the aerial fitter’s anger management (or lack of it) was completely off the scale/disproportionate and unapologetic.

My regret is that I didn’t insist on him providing the work/quote in writing. However, in hindsight he was clearly out of his depth for this job and customer service means absolutely nothing to him.

Most of the work, taking a tv lead from the attic down through the floorboards, landing stairs and directly to the TV had already been carried out by my joiner. So, after the aerial guy had been to the house I phoned him with a simple enquiry about the aerial lead and TV power cable which he was meant to be put through the wall (which is what he said he was going to do) instead of choosing to cut and then splice the two leads together. He became rude, arrogant, agitated and at times incoherent, talking about kettle leads, John Lewis and we still haven’t a clue or see any relevance as to why he would even mention this?

Having a civil and polite conversation with him was not possible and he found it necessary to shout /scream down the phone, hang up, then several minutes later phone again for another screaming rant.

This was then followed up with him sending impolite, ill-mannered texts to my phone. Any attempt I made to deescalate his aggressive tone was met with his sarcasm and bully behaviour as his rage went from 0-100 within seconds. He was not prepared to reason or resolve anything!

He charged £120 for his work (sloppy) which I’ve paid but would have paid a lot more if it meant doing the job correctly -what I had asked him to do -which he agreed to do and said he could do. How did he get on to East Lothian’s Trusted trader?

I wouldn’t normally leave an internet review (he encouraged me to do so)-but I feel the consumer needs to be warned about his behaviour and as he was not willing to resolve the matter- he is a poor representative for surrey Aerials.

I wouldn’t use them again- unprofessional!

Above and beyond the call of duty. Phoned Keith late on a Thursday night and by the next afternoon I had a new aerial, cabling and TV set up on the first floor of a 3-storey Victorian building. We had 8 aerials with needing installed with 48 connections. It was a big job but Keith was more than helpful in carrying out the work. There were some issues along the way but Keith worked with us to come to a solution in his usual thoughtful and pragmatic way.

Extension of aerial cable to another room, outside the property and back in. Work completed to a very high standard.

Keith replaced our entire aerial assembly (which had originally been fitted by his father, over 40 years ago!). He arrived on time, tidied up afterwards, and charged us the amount he’d quoted, even though the job was more difficult and took longer than anticipated. Excellent service and great value for money. No hesitation in recommending and would definitely use him again.

Surrey Aerials installed a new aerial and amplifier on the roof, along with cables running to 3 aerial points throughout the house. The installer demonstrated knowledge of the area's geography, helping him recommend what it was that I needed. The standard of the installation is good, and I get a great picture in every room. Pricewise, he came in a whisker under his estimate. I would definitely use him again, the next time I need work like this doing.

I would have given 5/5 but I just feel I didn't get what I asked for. I simply asked for someone to come and get my aerial working again, I was delighted when the guy got it working quickly and checked all the points in the house, this was done in about half an hour. The guy was very polite and helpful and I should have just said thank you once that was done but he found lots of other jobs to do and ended up staying for two hours. I didn't know how I was being charged and it just seemed like he was doing all these other jobs to be kind. I wouldn't have minded paying for an hour even if he'd left after half that but two hours charging for work I hadn't asked for still doesn't sit right with me. I would use this company again as the work was good but I would be a lot clearer about what I didn't need done. £100 would have been fine for the work I had done, its not a huge amount but its not what I had asked for and that's why I'm not giving full marks.

Speedy response to my enquiry. Required new aerial and cabling as well as an old satellite dish removed.

All items supplied and fitted - relocated loft aerial, extended down lead, fitted 46 filter, re-tuned TVs x 3, re-tuned Talk Talk viewbox: Clive is an excellent workman.  This is the second time I have had him.  He came same day as I called.  He explained everything he did.  He is extremely thorough and only left when he was completely satisfied that he had resolved the problem.  His manner is polite and very unobtrusive.  I have NO HESITATION in RECOMMENDING him HIGHLY!

New aerial and cabling and re-positioning to a different transmitter: Excellent service, would DEFINITELY use Surrey again.  A very experienced and knowledgeable tradesman who did the job quickly and efficiently and with a great end result.
