My EV charger was tripping, following the original installer using too small a cable. The charger vendor recommended a larger breaker, but this was impossible with the cable that had been installed. Jamie reviewed the installation, recommended a tidy, efficient, and robust fix for the problem, identified other issues regarding protection of the main incomer, and fixed it all with a minimum of fuss (even though it required lifting a carpet and floorboards and moving furniture). Knowledgeable, courteous, reliable, professional. Highly recommended.

Jamie attended promptly to investigate faulty bathroom ceiling spotlights .. replacement of a damaged cord and choc box and he changed over our old halogen bulbs for LED GU10 ones. Highly recommend his work and professional approach .. have asked him to return and do a quote as we have an upgrade to consider.

Updating LED lights and fixing issues that had developed over last 15 years. Jamie also installed new garden lighting. He also updated our fuse box so every circuit in the house is now RCBO protected.

Jamie responded very quickly to my concern about a socket that may have caught fire even though I was not an existing customer. He was efficient, knowledgeable, reassuring and very tidy. He costs were very reasonable and we will use him again when needed as well as recommend him to any friends or neighbours who need an electrician.

We recently used Jamie (Perry Electrical Limited) for a variety of jobs around the house; additional double plug socket installed behind tv, faulty light under kitchen cupboard was replaced, new extractor fan installed in en suite and our garden water feature was fixed by installing a complete new pump. Jamie’s communication from start to finish was fab, his quote was very detailed, he was punctual, very professional when undertaking his work and left everything spotless afterwards. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services.

- All the electrics for a bathroom refurb (new lighting, installing a heated towel rail, lit mirror)
- Replacing light fixtures in a hallway
- Connecting up new electric radiators throughout our flat
- Safety checks on pre-existing electric works
Jamie is highly professional and very polite. He is always on time, has done extra work on short notice for us, and completes work to a high standard. He makes sure to leave things clean and tidy afterwards - always disposes of any waste from the work, ensures he wears coverings to keep flooring clean as he works.

We had new smoke alarms and a heat detector fitted to replace out of date alarms.
Jamie was highly professional and very efficient. He arrived promptly, did a very good job, tidying up perfectly afterwards. He was very knowledgeable, had a friendly and courteous manner and was extremely conscientious throughout our dealings with him.

Jamie came to install an outdoor socket, distanced away from the house. It was a very professional and neat job, cabling along a fence and wall. jamie was great at explaining what he had done and the safety elements (isolation switch). I have and will continue to recommend Jamie as his work is top notch.

We asked Jamie to fit a wall light, switches and sockets in a difficult area of our house. He gave a lot of thought as to how to overcome the problems involved, which he did very successfully.
Jamie is an excellent tradesman and is extremely tidy.
He was also able to provide proof of the main equipotential bonding which is required for the property.
