We asked Colin to have a look at a long standing problem we've been having with water leaking into a downstairs bathroom from a balcony above. He stripped the floor of the balcony out, KC Joinery replaced the rotten joists and floor and Colin and crew re-felted on top of that. They did an excellent job, as quickly as possible, at a very reasonable price. Good communication throughout, even ensuring the skip was uplifted at the end of the job. Very happy and would definitely use again.

The roof was cleared of moss and some gable end pointing carried out. The workmen arrived promptly each morning and worked hard all day. They were very polite and cleared up afterwards. Really happy with all aspects of the job.

Colin has completed a number of jobs for me over a period of years, including refurbishing a tiled roof and extension and replacing the ridge and eaves tiles. His workers are conscientious about their work, they show up at the agreed time and and get on with the task in hand. Colin was only one of the three trusted traders roofers I contacted to actually get back to me. He responded to my initial enquiry within 15 minutes and came to assess the work within 2 days. He had his team out the next week.
His team worked very efficiently and took only a few hours to do what we needed - general repointing works, replacing missing slates, clearing our gutters, replacing a broken lead flashing, repairing a leaking cast iron gutter and re sealing some edges of our flat roof. His pricing is very, very reasonable - genuine value for money. We have since approved a second quote for some additional minor building work that his team can also undertake. We hope to sell our house this year but if that doesn’t happen we’ll definitely be asking him to completely replace our flat roof. Would not hesitate to recommend him and his team.

Pigeon spikes were added to areas that had not been done by a previous contractor.
Removed 3 nests and guano on tiles.

Changed gulleys which were rotten.

We have a contract with L & E to look after the roof, guttering etc. A leak has appeared in the roof beside a dormer window. This has necessitated re-slating of part of the dormer and re design of the valley between the dormer and main roof.
The work was carried out in a day by L & E and has fixed the problem

Moss removed from roof and copper strip adhered to ridge tiles; new plastic facia boards installed; new gutters and down-pipes fitted; interlocking plastic verges fitted to front and rear of roof.

Work was undertaken very efficiently by most pleasant workers who cleaned up after them. All debris was removed from site. Colin told us the work would take 2.5 days to complete which proved to be an exact. estimate.

Will definitely use his firm again.

The extent of the works include removal and reinstatement of hip tiles to pantile roof.

The extent of the works were not straightforward to undertake. The level of workmanship was excellent and they provided a first class service. The site was kept clean and tidy at all times and the Roofers were courteous and helpful at all times.

I had a blocked Rome pipe. Phoned Colin Monday PM. He was here this morning and fixed the blockage in a very short time. He did not even charge for the work. I would certainly use him again and recommend him to family and friends. One happy customer.

I am totally delighted with the whole experience and service provided by L & E Roofing. On my initial telephone enquiry I spoke to a lovely helpful lady called MaryAnn and even though I was not sure if the slightly uneven ridge tile on my roof was in need of repair MaryAnn immediately assured me that they would come and inspect it and provide me with the best advice. They lost no time and came the very next day to do the inspection. Colin and Gary were so genuine and sincere. With no hesitation, Colin climbed up to the roof for a closer inspection. Fortunately Colin could see there was no damage done to the ridge tile and it was totally secure. Colin confirmed there was no need for any repair.

Small repair to leaking guttering at the front of the house required. Colin responded to our initial enquiry straight away and arrived when he said he would. Repairs to roof valley. Excellent experience from start to finish. Very helpful from Mary when I made the first contact. Appointment made and Colin came the next day to see the problem and give me a quote. Very efficiently sent by e-mail which I accepted. They arrived within four to five days. Did and excellent job and cleaned up all the mess and took it away.
