I have used L&E Roofing for many years, for routine roof maintenance and occasional call-outs for storm damage or leaks. They have always attended promptly, diagnosed problems accurately and dealt with them successfully.
Recently they have installed ridge tiles on our bungalow, to replace some ugly roofing tape which had been left by previous owners. The job was efficiently done over three days and we were delighted with the result which is a great improvement in the visual appearance of the house. Attention was paid to make the best match of new and existing ridges. At their suggestion, and at no extra charge, they also did some cleaning and painting work, mainly of a chimney stack which was long-overdue and has also greatly improved appearance.
Colin and his colleagues are always very pleasant to deal with, and happy to give advice on anything needing done.

Colin came with a recommendation. There was good communication as multiple changes were requested with roofing work and a series of quotes were provided quickly and efficiently. Work carried out to a high standard, daily pictures sent to show me where we were up to along with those of the completed works. Work finished quickly with no mess left behind. Competitive price so very happy overall.

We contracted L&E Roofing to refurbish the games hall roof at our campsite near North Berwick. This included replacing timber, re-felting, new facia boards and gutters. They did an excellent job, completing the work to a tight deadline and a high standard. They were a good company to work with, replying quickly to any communication and always looking for the best solution for us as their customer. The new roof looks great and it made a big difference to have a dry games hall ready for our Easter camps. We would definitely recommend L&E Roofing to others.

I have just had my whole roof stripped and re slated. The work has been carried out in a very professional manner by all the people involved. I am extremely pleased with the work and will certainly use this company again.

Roof was covered with lumps of unsightly moss. Colin arrived on time as arranged and advised on best approach to provide us with the outcome we wanted - a non power-washer clean. Estimate provided in a timely manner, date agreed for the work to be done. The guys arrived and started the work on what was the hottest day of the year! Super efficient and hard working. Job completed and the all mess cleaned up. Very happy with the end result. Colin recommended a copper strip be fitted along the top of the roof ridge to stop moss growing- time will tell if this works. All in all professionally handled, no complaints and would recommend.

I phoned and immediately got someone out within the hour. A really bad leak from a dislodged slate. Fixed and really happy as no water now entering. Reliable and trustworthy. Now waiting for a quote to fix shoddy work previously done on the house.

The garage was leaking. Colin was prompt and reliable. He turned up to see the problem when he said he would, discussed what was wrong ,and did the work very efficiently. He also connected the down pipe into the waterbut properly.I intend using him again soon.

We had an excellent service from Colin, Derek and Derek of L & E Roofing from initial enquiry through to completion of the work of quite a large roof repair. All emails were answered the same day, the estimate was very detailed and Colin gave us a daily update, with photos, of the work as it progressed. All the workmen were friendly, helpful and arrived on time/as stated. The area was left tidy and clean at the end of each day. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and indeed intend to take out their maintenance service contract.

We had gallons of water coming through our ceiling during the recent spate of torrential rain. We were recommended to contact Colin by our neighbour. Colin came out quickly and went up to have a look. He ended up fixing a slipped slate, clearing out detritus from the top of the downpipe and repointing some adjacent stonework - all for a very reasonable price. Colin was polite and professional at all times.

Had a lead valley replaced.
Left a voice message, Colin contacted me while he was on holiday. On his return he assessed the job, gave a price, agreed a date, the work was done, no hassle. After been let down by another Trusted Trader roofing company, I was delighted at the response from L&E plus the workmanship was first class.

L&E Roofing deserve their Trusted Trader status. Colin came out to see our roof exactly when he said he would, sending us the quote just a few hours later. We found him very honest and open, only quoting for what he considered absolutely needing to be done without ever trying to add on anything else.

Derek and Derek are really good at their job. Very hard working and friendly, they kept us updated all the time with what they had done and still had to do. It was never a problem to ask them anything, they were happy to explain.

We found a second leak in the roof in the period between Colin quoting us and the work being done. They found the source of this leak and re-pointed an additional ridge without adding anything to the cost.

No hesitation in recommending L&E Roofing and we would happily use them again.

Had serious leak in bedroom during bad thunder storm 2weeks ago. I phoned Colin first thing on the Monday morning he came out at lunchtime same day.He said it looked like lightning had struck the roof he showed me photos. the roof was also covered in moss. The chimney stack also needed some work because of previous bad roofers. Colin gave me an estimate for cleaning moss treating roof replacing cracked tiles fitting copper strip to prevent moss regrowth and fixing chimney stack. Price was good he phoned to say he could fit me in the next day. The two Dereks arrived next morning as arranged and worked till job was complete. Fantastic service this is the second time I have used L&E Roofing and would not hesitate to recommend this firm excellent and friendly workforce.

Kept informed of when work would be carried out. Came when they said they would. Did a great job and finished when they said they would. Painless.

Rainwater pipes and guttering

We had a blocked down pipe in the back garden and Colin from L & E Roofing came to quote for the work.
The quote listed out the works - clear blockage, clean guttering and re run the rain water piping. A fair and reasonable price was given. Would recommend L & E Roofing and will certainly have them back next year to service the rain water pipes, guttering and roofing.

A stain on a ceiling confirmed what I thought was a leak from my roof - on a wet Sunday morning! Having used Colin earlier in the year for roof cleaning, I texted asking him if he could come and investigate. It was agreed for him to come out first thing the following morning. As always Colin arrived on time, assessed the situation and confirmed he would come back with his guys early afternoon. I was actually out when I received a text from Colin saying a he had cleared away the blockage which had caused the problem. Excellent service, honest and totally reliable.

Colin and his team replaced my flat roof over bedroom dormers with a rubber coating . They were prompt and courteous and left no mess . They work well as a team and I am very happy with the work carried out as they also check over the rest of the roof and did some minor repairs .
After a few weeks I had a problem with water getting in through my bathroom ceiling and again Colin came out to resolve the problem promptly at no extra charge .
I would definitely recommend his business and will use them again if I ever need to .
