Colin and the Dereks were brilliant from start to finish. We had an unusual half finished flat roof which needed finishing off. They weren't put off by this, gave a timely quote and fitted us in quickly. On the day the team arrived promptly and carried out the work to a high standard. Delighted with the work and would definitely recommend/use again.

Job 1 - I had harling removed and re-done and gutters cleaned and painted. During this job the large front window sill was found to be crumbling, Colin repaired this making it wind and water tight. He also came back and replaced guttering, checking it several times and re-painted not only the gutters but also the front of the house.
Job 2 - roof repair. This was done quickly and efficiently over 3 days with 400 tiles being replaced.
Colin and his team are hard working and polite and Colin takes time to explain the ongoing work.

Very professional, trustworthy company - guttering replaced, roof given a service with minor repairs advised as being required (so no unnecessary work undertaken), as well as repairs to the garden wall, all at a very reasonable price. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend L & E Roofing - Colin and his team are friendly, offer good advice and do what they say they will do, when they say they’ll do it. L & E roofing have been maintaining our roof for over 3 years. They have recently completed a bigger job, felting the front section of our high, old roof and bay window, replacing slates and zinc ridges etc. I have found them to be extremely trustworthy, reliable and good at communicating and have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I found Colin to be friendly, considerate and dependable. He and his employee, Derek, carried out maintenance work on the chimney, roof and rones. I was concerned that items in the attic were damp due to condensation so Colin installed 3 roof vent tiles on both sides of the roof to circulate air in the loft space. He was keen that I should be satisfied with all the work carried out, which I was, and even sent photos to my phone of work not visible from the ground. Very happy to recommend.

Over the last five years, since moving into the house, I have had the extension re-slated, the flat roofs of the garage and bay windows re-felted, a velux installed in the loft, repair work done on the main roof and chimneys, the 1930s garden pavilion re-shingled and twice a year maintenance checks carried out, which have identified genuine problems (e.g. with patches of harling) which would have become very much worse had they not been dealt with extremely efficiently and quickly. I have been consistently happy with L&E Roofing - the speed with which calls are responded to (e.g. after damage caused by high winds) is really quite something, and the personalised quality of the service-provision is outstanding.

After 2 weeks of overflowing gutters causing ingress of water into my property and two other tradesmen looking at it and giving me hefty quotes L and E Roofing came out within a couple of hours and upon thorough inspection discovered my problem was due to a blocked downspout and proceeded to unblock it for me, free of charge!! They gave me good advice about maintenance, may have saved me a lot of money and were absolute gentleman. I can't thank them enough
