An existing fence which had been damaged by the wind was made stable and a new gate built to fit the opening.
The work was done promptly and to a good standard and we are very pleased with the final result which have now been using for the past 6 months.

Kevin saved what he could of our old deck framework and balustrade and finished the decking to a very high standard. It’s a real pleasure to look at and I’m confident it will last well into the future. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and we would certainly employ him again.

This is the second time we have engaged Kevin to do work for us. He stabilised a fence which had blown over in a storm, hence we had no hesitation in asking him to do the most recent work for us.
In May he build a garden Pergola for us. Space was limited, in an established garden, so we needed to think it through and take advice. Kevin helped us with both, giving open and honest advice on the best way forward and sizes.
We are delighted with the the finished pergola. Beautifully built, with attention to detail, limited collateral damage to the garden. Respected our property, working tidily and clearing up.
We will enjoy using this over the Summer and for the years to come.

We engaged Joinery and Gardens Dubar to refurbish our wooden stairs to the garden, create a decking area and add raised beds and seating.

From the initial contact Kevin has been professional, reliable, knowledgeable and respectful. The project required access and work on neighbours' property. He met with and put our neighbours at ease ensuring any concerns were addressed. The project was complex and Kevin found solutions leading to a detailed plan agreed with everyone concerned.

All work was completed to a high standard, on time and budget. We had some structural issues (outside the scope of this work) regarding the stairs which meant that Kevin could not complete that at the time. He liaised with our structural engineer and will be back to complete works once we resolve those.

Our decking, raised beds and seating are exactly what we asked for and look great. Kevin is most definitely a craftsman and takes pride in his work. His knowledge and expertise are evident in the quality of his work. He is reliable, professional, respectful, a real pleasure to work with and I trust his word and judgement. I have no hesitation in recommending him and am looking forward to having him back with us again soon.
