James arrived on time. Protected the area of work with covers and worked with minimum breaks throughout the day. The results were excellent and all I had expected. I was very satisfied with the end result and would highly recommend him as a highly processional tradesman. Will certainly use him again.

James replaced defective timber standard, fitted new v-lining and applied 1 coat of white primer. James was very professional throughout the whole process from estimate to confirming a date to start the work. Would 100% advise you to call James.

James fitted a brand new front door. he is a highly experienced/professional joiner, he has made an excellent first class job of installing the door, takes great pride in his work including ensuring attention to detail and care when installing the door. He is also punctual, provided excellent advice linked to other work which requires to be carried out on my flat and ensured I received value for money when he submitted the original estimate to me. I will definitely contact James for my other joinery work. He also took away the old door and left the area very tidy after installation. X

Excellent work at a reasonable price

James did some remedial work on outside front door jambs & door. He sourced & replaced 2 sets of door handles. Super work. Tidied up after each job. He had previously put in a new kitchen. Really takes a pride in his work. Communication before & after work excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending James.

James completed a number of small jobs in my house which required a range of skills, attention to detail and a focus on getting the finish right. I was really impressed with James's work and his communication throughout. He was especially good at involving me in each decision and checking that I was completely satisfied with the finished job - which I was in every case.

James carried out work at my house internally and externally. He fitted panels in a bedroom and repaired my garden gate which was not functioning properly and I was unable to use it. James came to look at the jobs and was extremely helpful in assisting me in choosing the best materials required for the jobs. He kept me informed of the costs involved and when he would be available to carry out the work. The work has now been completed and the results are fabulous. The new panels are superb and my gate is now working again so I am a very happy customer and would definitely be using James again in the future. I will also be recommending him to friends and family. Great service from a very friendly and helpful professional.

Thoroughly recommend James. Knowledge is 2nd to none, really easy to deal with, diligent, honest, great communication / explanation, and the quality is spot on. We had some internal glazed doors fitted a couple of years ago, and was so pleased we didn’t hesitate to ask for all doors to be changed, laminate flooring and a fitted wardrobe. I would doubt you’ll be disappointed.

James has done several jobs for me in the past; this time it was external joinery round a window. He is always reliable, courteous, and produces excellent workmanship.

James had a very tricky task - to rectify the negligent work of a previous firm.
He undertook this with professionalism, care and warmth from the visit to quote, to communications to carrying out the work.
He was extremely careful to complete the work to a very high standard - which other people had intimidated would be impossible to achieve with the starting point of the previous negligent work.

I feel an enormous weight off my shoulders now I have a lovely wooden surround for my skylight window; something I wasn’t sure would be able to be achieved.

James was also extremely respectful of my home both in his manner and ensuring the room was as clean (cleaner actually!) as he found it.

James fitted an Attic Access ladder to our vey talk ceiling - over 3 metres. He sourced the ladders when other joiners said none long enough and fitted them. James had to make a new access hatch, he’s done a great job and a very tidy job. Thank you James. C

James Jappy is an exceptional, singularly talented joiner who has transformed our house over recent years. This particular exercise involved sanding and refurbishing an oak floor in our conservatory which now looks like new - better than new, to be honest.

Needed new skirting boards in the living room after having the walls skimmed.
Asked some friends for joiner recommendation and 2 of them have used James., and was highly recommended.
James came to have a look and measured then sent us an estimate, and came to do the work a few days later. On time, very professional, tidy honest and reliable.
Have a few more little jobs to be done and we will be using James again.

James Jappy has done work in our house and garden for over a decade and we keep returning because of the quality of work and the excellent value for money.

He has done work in almost every room in the house, the loft and also built our summer house in the garden.

Last year we decided to take the plunge and get brand new kitchen and there was never any question of us going with another company. We went with James Jappy and were absolutely delighted with the results.

This year he has fitted a brand new floor in our living room & dining room with further work planned before christmas in my daughter's room.

We needed a new door to be made in a wall to access some dead space along with some other smaller joinery jobs around the house. James was recommended to us through a friend and we're so glad we chose him. His open and nothing-is-a-bother attitude was a real breath of fresh air.
