The minute I walked into the store with my partner Brian was very helpful in being realistic in help us choose a carpet that suited our budget. The quality of the product was very good as well. Payment process was seemless and no hidden charges. Every penny being spent was explained and clarified to us before spending by Lindsay. Once the date was wet for the carpet laying, Steven (father and son) were very quick at laying the carpet considering the areas of our house that they had to cover. For a small business in East Lothian, they made me feel like I was dealing with a really high end commercial company.

I have been contemplating re-carpeting my house for some time but kept putting it off due to the amount of furniture I have and the thought of having to move it, to allow the old carpets to be uplifted and the new ones, laid.

However, I was told the workmen , from East Coast Carpets, who would lay the carpets would move furniture to allow the new underlay and carpet to be laid removing my concerns.

As a result, I ordered carpets/underlay at a very competitive price and kept my fingers crossed the men would complete the heavy work. I needn't have worried and they completed a great job, showing courtesy to me and respect to my property. They worked like trojans and the new carpets look great!

Absolutely delighted with the parquet flooring first class from start to finish, from choosing it to it getting fitted, totally over the moon huge thank you, will definitely be recommending you to family and friends.

I honestly cannot thank this team enough! I just moved into a new flat around 3 weeks ago I have had an absolute night mare finding somewhere for carpets with it being this time of the year everyone is super busy! My auntie found east coast carpets for me , said they looked brilliant, first time I called the lady was lovely & reassured me not to worry that they could defiantly fit me in, I was very stressed as I thought I wouldn’t have carpets down for kids wakening up on Christmas morning or my daughters birthday which is Boxing Day! Brian came out a few days after measured up, even brought samples as I wasn’t able to visit the shops! Today I had David & Dan out fitting the new living room carpet, they have done an amazing job, didn’t take them long at all, I live quite high up so even them bringing the big carpet all the way up stairs would’ve been a task! I can now get my Christmas tree up for my kids, I’m so happy! Thank you so much guys! I will be in touch after the new year for the rest of the house. Amazing experience with East Coast carpets. Firstly Steven and the team are excellent, they were very helpful helping us choose the carpets as we had no clue were to begin! We kept up to date all the time throughout the whole process. Fitters done a great job, looks amazing! Highly recommend!

Brian did the measuring and suggested an option that provided me with a better quality carpet while actually costing less.
I had to postpone the fitting which was no problem and arranging an alternative date and time could not have been simpler.

East Coast Carpets recently carpeted a small flat for my mum. Erica was extremely helpful in choosing the carpet, Brian was on time and efficient in measuring (he’s been providing me with carpets for 30 years). Steven called day before to confirm fitting timings then called on the day before the team arrived, who were also extremely efficient. Couldn’t fault any aspect of the process and mum loves her choice. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We had all carpets and vinyl in the house replaced. At every stage of the process every person we've spoken to has been completely professional. Costings for the entire work was very clear, no hidden costs at all, and a great deal. Everyone did exactly what they said they would and when they said they would do it. There was a minor issue with one of the carpets which was replaced quickly and easily with no arguments and at no additional cost. We could not be happier to recommend this company to others in future. And the house looks amazing!!!

The guys arrived at 9am to fit a bedroom carpet. They got straight to work and completed the job within 3/4 of an hour. Very pleased with the whole service from start to finish. I have recently moved home and I was looking for nice carpets in my new home. A friend of mine recommended East Coast Carpets so my wife and I went into their shop in Tranent. We found Brian to be extremely helpful and told him our budget range, the carpet Brian suggested was the Lazio which we really liked. Brian came to the house the following morning on time to measure up, and the carpets were laid in our living room, hall stair and main bedroom on Monday 27th November ahead of our moving in date on 30th November. The 2 guys who came out were very punctual, and really professional and they have carried out an amazing job. We are so happy with everything. Due to our budget we couldn't get flooring carried out in the whole house but we will be using East Coast to carpet the remaining bedroom and we will select flooring for our bathroom and kitchen as Brian measured up everything and all the sizes are on the system. Early in the new year I will get East Coast to cover the remaining rooms in our house and I will highly recommend them to other people
