Angus Trusted Trader
The Angus Trusted Trader Scheme is a joint Council and Trading Standards initiative to provide a list of local and reputable vetted businesses.
The Trusted Trader scheme is supported by Police Scotland and consumeradvice.scot
(a part of Advice Direct Scotland).
Listen to Angus Councillor Mark McDonald explaining about the Trusted Trader scheme.
Sergeant Burnett from Police Scotland discusses how Trusted Trader helps protect residents and responds to the Shut Out Scammers Scottish Government initiative.
All Trusted Traders have agreed to trade fairly and sign-up to a Code of Practice.
The Code covers:
- transparent procedures for quoting and carrying out work
- only charging a fair and reasonable price
- dealing with complaints promptly
If you would like to become an Angus Trusted Trader and have a minimum of six months trading clean history, then fill in the online application form.
