I had a large (6kW) solar system plus 10kW battery installed by Hosie Electrical. After doing a fair bit of research and a fair few quotes, Richard Hosie definitely was the best choice. One of the few people who came to my house to check what was needed, an excellent discussion and learning for me on what was suitable, and they actually gave the cheapest quote. The install was fast and efficient from Hosie and the scaffolders, and has now been running for a few months and hasn’t missed a beat. Hosie had the system independently verified as well. I would highly recommend Hosie Electrical for a solar/battery system; they also installed my Zappi car charger, which has also been completely trouble free.

We use Hosie Electrical Contracting on an ongoing basis. Recent works included a full upgrade of the workshop and outdoor lighting to LED's. Messrs Hosies are reliable electricians who carry out their work in a totally professional manner. The work they have done for me includes the installation of domestic mains NiCad fire alarm systems; domestic electrical installation upgrades for houses; 50 KW solar PV array on a farm grain drier; total rewire of 2 farms involving 3-phase apparatus.

They have maintained the fixed wiring on most of the National Trust for Scotland sites in the North East region for over a decade, as well as completed countless other projects, repairs and upgrades, and in that time have displayed professionalism and care for the historic buildings we look after. No job is too big or too small, and the quality of their work is simply beyond reproach.

We had a solar PV array and battery storage installed. The survey was performed speedily and professionally. The subsequent installation was done on time, as expected, with excellent project management across the trades involved, and great communication from the office team. We chose Hosie as they were well- priced, gave us a personal service, and their workmanship has been excellent. We would highly recommend them.

We used the Hosie Electrical team to install a solar panels and battery storage system to our house. They were recommended by a friend and I was very please to find their installation at my address was a positive as the recommendation that was provided.
The install was a 3 day process. Day 1 was horrendous rain but didn’t dampen the teams spirits. They kept working with a bright and professional outlook and were a total pleasure to have on site. Day 2 completed the outdoor works with the area being well cleared and tidied upon completion. Day 3 install moved into the garage and unpin completion the lead electrician took the time to walk through the set up and ensure I was happy with the equipment. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to complete any electrical work in your house. They are efficient, professional and polite from start to finish.
