After gaining several quotes from various companies. J . Shearer immediately stood out from the other companies. They were organised, courteous and professional. Quick to respond to request of quote. Comprehensive and clear in the quote . Added bonus of having a highly organised office staff to facilitate between the customer and highly skilled trades . Always replied to any queries quickly and efficiently throughout the whole process.
The actual job was carried out with the best of materials and a highly skilled team.
This was a costly but necessary undertaking . However , feel it’s been a good choice and money well spent. We are very satisfied customers.
We don’t normally leave reviews . However appreciate that these kind of jobs can seem overwhelming and costly . Replacing flat roof on garage. Repair to chimney included stripping old lead work, rouchcasting and roof tiles and replacing with new. Found workmen to be professional, courteous, trustworthy and any problems were attended to immediately. I would use this trader again.

We had our skylight removed and the roof tiled over. Work was done quickly and efficiently and the workmen tidied up perfectly afterwards.

Repair to roof at chimney stack, replaced joists and lead etc. We had a bad leak from roof which came into bedroom above bed when it rained. My dad has dementia so the job had to be done correctly as it was above his bed. The guys who came out were very professional and understanding, gave me my free quote for work to be done. After discussing the job through the office it was arranged and as soon as they could they came out. Very smart and professional. They did the job and I have had no problems since. It's not often I can say job done when it was supposed to be done and at a fair price too, all done to high standards of health and safety, with a guarantee in hand. Thank you.
