Partial re-roofing and replacing slipped tiles. The office staff were very pleasant, as were the surveyor and the roofers. Job done well and efficiently.

The work was initiated promptly from the initial survey and report until the arrangement of the work being carried out. The workers carried out the work in a professional manner explaining what was being done and carrying it out tidily. Start to finish this was a professional job a good experience.

I had a handrail fitted to my rear door.

The person turned up on time was very pleasant and quickly and competently carried out the work. He cleared up everything afterwards.

A Velux window was fitted.
They arrived on time finished on schedule left my house area clean as it was when they arrived and quality of work was first class.

Old velux window in loft bedroom removed and new window and surround fitted. Company was very easy to deal with, everyone was professional, friendly and reliable. Job carried out exactly as stated. Fitters did an excellent job and cleared up all waste materials. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to use for any further works

Replacement of leaky, damaged guttering to front of house

There were a few cracked tiles and the concrete along the ridge had crumbled away. One of the down pipes had detached slightly from the gutter. These issues were identified by using a drone to confirm the problems which meant we could see clearly what repairs needed done. All the work was carried out professional and efficiently. I would recommend J Shearer Roofing.

Work on roof as had water ingress. First class. Spent all day on roof fixing the problem.

Replacement of all ridge tiles and a skylight fitted. Plus a general tidy up of the roof area and gutters.
Not particularly happy with the finishing of the skylight work looking at it from inside the loft and would have been happier if I had been made more aware of the fact that the quote did not include the VAT.
Overall , the work was completed to a reasonable standard but it is hard to give a fair total assessment as I will not be able to inspect it thoroughly until the Spring.

Leaking roof repaired. The office staff and the men were friendly and helpful. I had to wait some time for the work to be carried out so a temporary repair was carried out. I had to call them out again to repair the temporary repair as the roof began to leak again but this was the only niggle. Everything left tidy when complete.

The team at shearer were great. They gave us a very professional assessment of the damage using an expert and drone. They provided pictures identifying exactly what needed to be repaired and why.

It took a while to get the work started due to how busy they the team were but they tried to prioritise us as we were letting in water which was helpful. The team they sent were experienced, friendly and skilled at what they do. They worked quickly and professionally at all times. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking to have their roof fixed or velox windows replaced.

Repairs were carried out to roof tiles and guttering. Communication was excellent.

Gutters cleaned and small repair to roof tile. Workmen appeared on time and carried out the work in very poor weather. Once the job was finished, I was updated on findings which I found helpful.

Realignment of gutters and repair to flat roof.
From initial enquiry, through to trades completing the work, all staff were easy to deal with and kept me updated at all times.
Work was completed on time and although slightly more expensive than some other quotes received, I wanted peace of mind that my roof had been repaired by a reputable and professional firm.
Will use them again and have already recommended them to friends.

We were very pleased with the work done. Staff were very polite and efficient and explained what they were doing. We had some additional work done and the company were very accommodating at getting this added to work being done, so there was no delay.

Roof checked and all moss scraped off. Renewed all gutters, soffits and barge boards with upvc. These works were completed at beginning of October 2023.

Great standard of work

Shearers replaced our garage roof which was over 100 years old with new slate. This was carried out cheerfully, competently, quickly, cleanly and with a great deal of efficiency. We are very pleased with the result. There was a minor problem subsequently which they came and fixed immediately.
