Repair to roof on extension where it joined the main building. Problems were quickly identified and repair was done without a hitch. Fitted us in during a busy period for roofers due to the frequent rainstorms this year.

They have reception staff, offices, dedicated inspection and quotation staff, site managers and quality skilled roofers. I had difficulty obtaining planning permission and aspects of the job had to change, Jamie the company Director was happy to help and willing to accommodate the necessary changes. The company puts a lot of effort into delivering high customer service. The site manager sent regular photographs showing the roofs progresses, with drone images of the finished roof. Would highly recommend this company and all their staff.

Replace gutter and fascia/soffit on the front of the house.

All staff, including the estimator and the office staff, were pleasant and friendly. The workmen turned up on time, completed the work and cleared up afterwards. There had been numerous leaks from in and around the old guttering and now there are none.

J. Shearer Roofing replaced the roof on my property in December 2023. The work was completed to a high standard within an earlier timescale than initially quoted, and with a 10 year guarantee. The price was competitive. There was a storm a few days after the work was completed, causing one minor piece of damage. Shearers came out to the property the following day to make the repair. All staff were very courteous and pleasant both in the office and on site. Happy to recommend.

We had some issues with broken and loose slate tiles on our roof which needed replaced and repaired, we contacted several roofing companies and found that Shearer's from the outset were efficient, professional and friendly, providing a comprehensive and detailed survey using a drone and copies of the photographs of the roof, with a breakdown of costs and guaranteed price from the get go.

Although not the cheapest quote, we were confident we were dealing with experienced tradespeople that would provide us with a quality job. That is what we got!

The team arrived on the day as promised carried out the works with no issue or fuss and cleared up any mess afterwards, you wouldn't know they had been.

I had replacement gutters fitted as the old ones had never been quite right. I also had my roof checked over at the same time.
From initial estimate to completion of work I was informed what would be required( in this case scaffolding).
The work was carried out as planned, the workers were very pleasant and everything left cleaned up and tidy.

A Velux window was fitted.
They arrived on time finished on schedule left my house area clean as it was when they arrived and quality of work was first class.

Old velux window in loft bedroom removed and new window and surround fitted. Company was very easy to deal with, everyone was professional, friendly and reliable. Job carried out exactly as stated. Replacement of leaky, damaged guttering to front of house

There were a few cracked tiles and the concrete along the ridge had crumbled away. One of the down pipes had detached slightly from the gutter. These issues were identified by using a drone to confirm the problems which meant we could see clearly what repairs needed done. All the work was carried out professional and efficiently.
