We were having trouble with our patio door in our new home and after seeing a recommendation on Facebook I sent a message. David responded immediately and was able to come over the next day for a free quote . There were two problems with the door one which could have waited to be fixed, there was absolutely no pressure to get both problems fixed, we did go ahead with the work which was fixed within an hour. We now have absolutely no issue with the door and we’re extremely pleased with the level of work and efficiency.
Would definitely use the company again.

New lock required for patio door as key lost, very helpful first contact by telephone with explanation of cost and how job would be undertaken, this is particularly important during the current Covid 19 circumstances. Locksmith arrived at appointed time, professional and courteous manner, and observed all protocols with regard to Covid requirements , reassuring as myself and wife are vulnerable older adults. New lock replaced quickly and efficiently with no mess. Locksmith ensured we understood working of new lock, and on departing noticed our front door lock needed adjustment, this was done at no extra charge . I can recommend this company highly.

We called David out to replace our Velux window unit before our house move. He got back to me quickly, came out to assess job the same day, ordered parts and it was fitted within the week. We had a key that had snapped in our byfolding doors and David had came out to our house nice and quick and removed the key, got the door open and then changed the lock there and then and sorted enough keys for the whole family!!

We've had David out a few times now and we honestly can't fault him at all. Whether it's a broken hinge on a window or you've snapped your key in the lock (again...) his workman ship is second to none. He's polite, punctual and professional but above all else, he's an honest hard working guy.

When I moved into my new house David from Barrhead lock and door co came out and changed my locks on all the doors. He also gave the mechanism in the front door a wee service as it was catching.
