A Major Tiling

The work undertaken at my home by A Major Tiling comprised the replacement of a small toilet, main bathroom and a sizeable en-suite bathroom.
The whole job was coordinated and managed superbly by A Major Tiling. All tradesmen worked to a high standard and I had no issues at all during the period of the works being undertaken. Everything was completed within the original timescale as well. I can’t speak highly enough of them.

Alan and Gary recently completed tiling the floor and wall in our tenement kitchen in Glasgow, and we couldn't be happier with their work. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They worked quickly without compromising on quality and kept the space clean and tidy throughout the project, which was a big plus. A top floor tenement bathroom probably isn't on the top of anybodys wishlist when it comes to work. But Alan and his team handled it perfectly. From start to finish I was massively impressed with their knowledge and how particular they are about their work. Alan and his team carried out a bathroom refurbishment for us a few months ago and we were delighted with it. The quality of workmanship and communication were excellent. The job was completed on time, on budget and to a very high standard. They were tidy and efficient workers and I would have no reservations using them again or recommending to others.

Alan and his team stripped back my long and narrow (1.20cm) Glasgow tenement bathroom to the brick. It was a complete top-to-toe refurb, and I'm delighted with it.

I'd had 8 plus plumbers/bathroom fitters to quote for the work, and I only ever got one quote back, even after chasing them up.

So I was a bit wary, and on my guard - especially when Alan mentioned he liked to be straightforward with the whole process. Well, he kept to his word and the whole process ran smoothly and to schedule.

Alan listened to what I wanted, working to my rough design, he gave good sound, honest advice.

Gary who worked alongside Alan was just as hard working, they turned up on time and got stuff done.

Throughout the day all the trades were tidy and cleaned up after themselves.

On top of all this, everyone was lovely and a pleasure to have in the house.

Not only have I got an amazing bathroom I now have a plumber, an electrician, plasterer and tiler who I wouldn't hesitate to use again. Thank you Alan.

Great bathroom refit from Alan and his guys. He was the most transparent and upfront tradesman I've used! Job was done efficiently and he took real care of cleaning up after each day to keep mess minimal. The finish is great and he was really good at advising on what was possible in our space.

Allan and his team did a great job on our bathroom, we’re very happy the work. A few tricky/fiddly parts of the job were handled without fuss and he went out his way to make sure we were getting what we wanted. He kept the place tidy and sorted all the required trades (who we where also happy with) including rubbish disposal which was professional and quick. We feel we got good value for money and he stuck to the original quoted price so there were no nasty surprises. Highly recommended.

We used Alan to tile our self build project. This involved large format porcelain tiles to floors and tiling of three bathrooms. Installation of UFH to ground floor along with a potentially problematic anyhdrite screed meant a high degree of preparation and technical knowledge was required which Alan and his team had in spades.

We are delighted with the results and will continue to use him for future projects.

Alan was also reasonably priced, a good communicator and reliable.
