John and his merry band arrived to put a solar/battery system in for me.
I'd had some ludicrous quotes and ideas from some of our countrymen from further south and west.
John, was plain, simple and didn't mess me about with jargon.
You need this, this and this. You dinnae need any of that, it'll be this much.
I'll do it on this date.
It was and he did.
The install is really really neat.
The boys were in and out with zero fuss, tidied up after themselves.
The system works, as he said it would and I'm delighted.
Guid loon, highly recommended.

We had smoke alarms and a solar panel system installed. John and his colleagues always arrived promptly ,worked steadily and always cleared up afterwards. Politely answered questions and queries in run up to installations.
We have used JME on other occasions and have no problems recommending to others.

Carried out electrical inspection, and issued EICR report. On this visit there were other issues needing attention, such as RCD tripping issues. We have use John McIntosh Electrical for several years now. John, and his team, work hard to accommodate our needs, as well as the needs of our tenants. Our tenant’s have always reported that the electrician arrived in a timely manner, works tidily, and respects the tenant and property. We are very happy with John McIntosh Electrical's work.

We had a steel armoured cable and EV charging point installed and also a mains/generator changeover switch connected to our distribution board.
We received an excellent service from start to finish. Everything from communication to carrying out the work to a high professional standard and within agreed timescales was first class. Highly recommended.

We had a home charging unit fitted at our garage. We were delighted with every aspect of this process with John McIntosh Electrical Ltd. They carried out the site visit, explained what work would be involved and how they would go about it. They also helped with information relating to government grants. The work was done on the day stated and we were highly delighted with the work carried out by Darren, he was tidy, efficient and knowledgeable.

Had an EV charging point fitted, excellent communication from the company from my initial enquiry and subsequent questions.
Installer turned up on time and took care and went over the installation process and asked my preference about cable runs etc. Work was carried out to a high standard and very happy with the installation process.

Good customer interface during initial enquiry and help given to guide me to the EnergySavingTrust site to claim the grant for EV charger.
Installation was very neat and tidy carried out by Darren, even although the routing was convoluted.
Also managed to accomodate in Aberdeenshire area where local electricians had serious backlog.

The installation of Fire and heat alarms along with some external lighting was carried out as promised. I was given an estimate for the work and a date for it to be carried out. The electrician turned up on time and completed the work within 2 hours. He was very pleasant and went over the work with me when it was completed.
Very happy with the workmanship and he left the place as he found it ie. no mess.

Got an EV installed in March 2022 with discount through the OLEV government grant scheme - thought the process was made easier by John McIntosh, easy to use web portal which took you through step by step application and was quick to return quote which let me also apply for the additional energy trust Scotland grant.
Install looks great, everything installed when agreed and installed by electrician that knew EV market, very knowledgable, good overall and very tidy job and good service. Recommended.
