We recently had painting work completed, and we were extremely impressed with the quality of workmanship and the final result. Matt demonstrated exceptional skill and attention to detail throughout the project. We were so pleased with his work that we have already scheduled him for additional work on two more lodges.

Work Done

Cut back and remove section of water damaged plasterboard ceiling. Install new section of plasterboard ceiling. Smooth in the joints of the new plasterboard to match the existing plasterboard. Add textured artex plaster to the surface of the new plasterboard to match the existing artex ceiling pattern. Allow plaster to dry and then repaint the whole ceiling with 2 - 3 coats of professional Dulux Silk Vinyl White Paint.

Treating water damage on the wall in the boiler cupboard and then re-painting the whole of the boiler cupboard to cover over the water damage stains and freshen up the paintwork in the boiler cupboard.

Maciej was extremely professional from start to finish on this job. He started and finished the job in the time frame that he said it would take when providing his quote. He was on time each day. He throughly tidied up at the end of each day and fully protected all my furniture, windows, doors, carpets etc so that none were damaged or marked in the process. He was tidy at all times when carry out the work. He was extremely knowledgeable with respect to the potential risk of my ceiling potentially having asbestos in the original artex all be in highly unlikely due to the age of my house and the asbestos regulations that were in place at the time my house was built but to safe guard myself and himself he treated the whole job as through there was asbestos and hence used a vacuum when clearing away the damaged plasterboard. He was extremely hardworking and heads down doing the whole job whilest he was at my house. He was very well manored and very polite. He did not force any extra work requirement on to me and there was no hidden extras. I felt comfortable and happy having him doing the work for me which was something I that always concerns me when selecting a tradesperson to do work for me especially being a female on my own. I was truely amazed and extremely happy at the high standard of his work that equally proved that as I had hoped that I didn't need to get my walls repainted as he was so careful at the edges of the ceiling and his plastic sheeting also protected my walls from splashing too. I couldn't fault his work at all. He did a very good job of attempting to blend in the new artex pattern to match the existing. It's not 100% matching but it's not far off a 100% match, which is not easy at all with patterned artex ceiling finished.It is far easier to re-artex a whole ceiling as against do a patchwork repair. I highly recommend Maciej for all your plastering and interior painting jobs. He is extremely polite, kind and very courteous and highly professional. Top marks around.

Following a leak into my property, I had bare plasterboard on the walls which needed taping, papering and painting to match existing decoration. Maciej did an excellent job.
